The Information and Communications Technology is considered as a symbol of the scientific and technological progress of this age, it has dominated the modern life and widened the circle of its uses to all the fields, such as: economy, media, health, politics, education ...... etc. Although some persons look at these technologies as a kind of well-being, they have become an undividable part of the citizen's daily life, all over the world. In this regard, Higher Education, like other public sectors has to keep up with these huge changes of the information age, especially after the changes that altered the concept of education in the age of science and information technology, as well as, the increase in its importance. Consequently, competition between the great powers is no longer on the ownership of weapons and gear, but education is to become a field of competition among adults. Therefore, the implementation of Information and Communications Technology in higher education institutions in Algeria is regarded as one of the most important indicators that ensure the effectiveness of these institutions through the achievement of many methodological educational goals, and providing students with an interactive learning environment that encourages them to integrate into the education process, on another hand. That is why, in this context, the objective of this study is to see closely the reality of information and communication technologies in high school and to investigate the extent of its use in the educational system..
